Superfund
DEQ’s Superfund Program:
The Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 (CERCLA), otherwise known as Superfund, is a federal program used to cleanup our nation’s uncontrolled hazardous waste sites. DEQ works with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to address Superfund sites in Oklahoma.
